Sony has announced its first new colors of DualSense PS5 controllers today.
PS5 has been in the news for several days, and now its controllers are grabbing information as well. Today, Sony made an announcement in which it declared the two new colors; a “cosmic red” and “midnight black.”
Now, these two colors are way too different and exciting in their way. The cosmic red color is two-tone red and features a black design too.
On the other hand, “midnight black” reminds us of the classic PS2, PS3, PS4 controller designs.
How will these new color schemes of DualSense controllers bring a varied change?
Notably, Sony has offered only two colors, white and black. Undoubtedly, both of these colors are contrasting to each other.
These color schemes were meant to match the PS5. However, these new colors are welcoming, and everyone is eagerly waiting for them.

Remarkably, the “midnight black” is quite notable, while on the other hand, the white color scheme has been the biggest departure from Sony. White has been a trademark for several PlayStation ways back.
It has enjoyed the most extensive span of the PlayStation brand. Along with this, it has also led the trend towards black and gray consoles.
The new black option is relatively closer to the other controllers, though being a two-tone design.
Sony has not yet announced any modification for faceplates
As of now, Sony has only announced the colors of the controllers. On the other hand, PlayStation 5 is equipped with removable faceplates.
Therefore, it is possible to release matching plates for the PS5 soon. There are many enterprising companies in the market which are filling the gap, like Dbrand.
It should be noted that these companies aren’t doing it directly; they are taking the help of their third-party options.
By next month, these two color schemes of DualSense controllers might hit the market. Moreover, Sony claims that it all depends on individual retailers when they want the launching of any of the controllers.
There isn’t any reliable news for the pricing of these controllers. But looking at the standard price of these controllers, it might cost around $69.99.
Of course, all that assumes that you can find a PS5 in the first place – something which Sony itself told in its recent report.
Sony claimed that there might be a production issue till 2022. The company cannot cope with customer demands and is assuming that this might not resolve until 2022.
