Soyou has become one of the most famous K-Pop idols. Apart from her talents and skills, many people also applaud her for her beauty and figure.
Amid the pandemic, the former Sistar member has seemingly focused on sharing content for her YouTube channel. Earlier this year, she said that she challenged herself to do a diet, which she obtained from the show, Fit to Fat to Fit.
After gaining about 10 kilos, she is now on her way to losing it. She recently dropped a video on her channel detailing her top YouTube video recommendations on how to lose weight at home, according to Koreaboo.
What Soyou recommends
Soyou first recommended a video titled Calorie Burning Explosive Diet from the channel, “Thankyou BUBU.” It features a couple who creates fitness content for all individuals.
She said that beginners could handle the routines because they are not difficult. It is a 30-minute cardio-based workout that will give the viewers a “great sweat.”
The K-Pop idol mentioned another YouTube channel that viewers may check. She said that “YOGABOY” offers complete yoga practices. She also noted that this is ideal for those who want to do yoga rather than high-intensity exercises.
Soyou then highlighted Chloe Ting’s channel. She said that the platform has different exercise videos for almost every part of the body.
Losing 10 kilos after gaining it
Soyou’s current weight is 62.4 kilos, according to Kpop Starz. In one of her most recent videos, she said that this is the “heaviest weight” she has achieved ever.
Upon reaching her goal to gain 10 kilos, she immediately started to work on it to lose it as soon as possible. On the first few days of her diet course, she revealed to her viewers how she plans to lose it healthily.
She emphasized the importance of staying healthy while on a diet. This is why planning is essential.
Soyou continued that there should always be three meals a day. If difficulties arise to eat breakfast, she suggested replacing it with protein food.
She, later on, shared that she will practice yoga twice or thrice a week. Alongside this routine, she revealed that she needs to do cardio, as well.
How she lost 8 kilos in a month
Three years ago, the former Sistar member shocked her fans and followers with her revelation about the crash diet she did. She said that she lost 8 kilos in a month as preparation for her magazine photoshoot.
In one of her previous interviews, she said that she only ate the white of four quail eggs and a half cup of skimmed milk every day for four weeks. Despite achieving her goal, though, Soyou admitted the “pains” of losing weight through a crash and unhealthy diet.
