Thanks to a rise in PS5 stock, many games have witnessed a massive jump in UK boxed sales chart, including Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales reached number 2 in UK’s boxed sales chart in the week ending February. One of the big reasons for that was a boost in PS5 stock, which saw many sales titles.
Speaking of Sony’s web-swinging game, it’s a successor to 2018’s Peter Parker version.
“Spider-Man: Miles Morales” and other titles rise
Although Spider-Man: Miles Morales jumped to the second spot, Mario managed to stay at the top by 1,000 units.
Still, Miles Morales’ rise is significant as its sales increased 172 percent in the last week of February. Previously it was at number seven. The big thing is that its margin against Mario is just 1,000 units, which is quite impressive to witness because a few months ago, the figures weren’t good at all.
Speaking of other games in the UK charts, then Demon Souls saw a big jump as well. From the 40th position, it directly moved up to the 21st spot. This is an increase of around 123 percent.
Overall, the total PS5 boxed sales gained a significant boost of 64 percent in the last February week.
Recent entries included Persona 5 Strikes which debuted at number five on Switch and PS4. The latter accounted for 72 percent of its sales.
Here are all the top 10 best-selling UK games (with the latest ranking) for the week ending February 27th:
+ Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
