Last week turned everything upside-down as Spider-Man: Miles Morales eventually dethroned Mario from the top spot in UK boxed sales charts!
Yes, Sony’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales became the No.1 selling PS5 title in the UK boxed sales last week. It broke the unbeaten streak of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.
The video game launched last November, and its initial sales weren’t up-and-coming.
‘Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ selling more copies!
The Sony game is doing surprisingly well at the moment. It’s now almost unstoppable!
Compared to its post-launch performance, Spider-Man: Miles Morales seems to be getting more love at the moment. And its most significant proof is that it just dethroned Mario from the number one spot in UK boxed sales charts.
The position was ruled by Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury for many weeks. But now, it has come down on the second number.
All thanks to Spider-Man: Miles Morales and its great appeal!
For the first time, it has also claimed the top rank in the charts.
Interestingly, it’s also PS5’s best-selling launch title when it comes to just physical sales. It means that even after reducing the figures of its PS4 version, it would still have been No.1.
That’s a remarkable accomplishment for this short but engaging web-swinging installment in Marvel’s Spider-Man series.
Here’s the complete list of Top 10 best-selling games in the UK, as per the latest ranking, for the week ending March 13th:
+ Spider-Man: Miles Morales
+ Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
+ Animal Crossing: New Horizons
+ Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
+ Minecraft (Switch)
+ Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
+ Grand Theft Auto 5
+ Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
+ Super Mario 3D All-Stars
+ Ring Fit Adventure
