Several secret Microsoft documents have revealed that the upcoming title STALKER 2 might arrive as an Xbox exclusive upon its launch.
The confidential documents hint towards making STALKER 2 only an Xbox exclusive at the time of its release.
There’s no launch date shared yet from GSC Game World.
‘STALKER 2’ release: What to expect?
Well, what’s interesting to observe is that the latest information about STALKER 2 is coming from the ongoing Apple vs. Epic case.
As part of the proceedings, several renowned gaming companies had to submit important internal communications to public records.
Thus, there’s been a lot of revelation coming as far as the industry itself is concerned.
For example, Sony is said to be changing developers for the sake of having PS4 crossplay.
Also, Nintendo doesn’t like the Yakuza!
Furthermore, Microsoft is said to be planning to reduce its cut of Xbox Store profits. And within that is another major news regarding STALKER 2.
The GSC Game World title is reportedly going to be coming on Xbox for three months exclusively.
However, three months is a rare period of giving a new release on a particular console. But maybe Microsoft could get that much only, instead of a year or six months.
It implies that the game won’t take long to arrive on PlayStation. And thus, PS players will be able to grab it sooner than later (if not instantly after the launch).
Fans are excited already about it since the official gameplay teaser was revealed a few months ago.
