Although the latest patch has fixed some major bugs, it seems like CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 is still far from being perfect.
And now, there’s a new weird glitch in Cyberpunk 2077 that lets you have an NPC as a lifelong companion!
A Reddit user recently found out about this interesting fact.
‘Cyberpunk 2077’: V gets a permanent companion!
Despite CDPR’s constant efforts to refine the gameplay in CP77, it seems like the game has its way of operating. How?
Well, a player who’s also on Reddit recently shared a compilation clip of him playing Cyberpunk 2077, as you can see above.
What’s interesting to note is that in all the sequences, there’s a constant presence of one NPC.
During the “Going Away Party” gig, V ends up getting a lifelong companion in the form of a person named Flavio dos Santos.
Flavio is the one who is saved by V during the task handed out by El Capitan during the early stages of CP77.
Instead of going away after getting rescued, he stays with the protagonist and follows him everywhere.
The player who shared this compilation video on Reddit was also confused to find it out. He also revealed that the character Flavio stayed with V even after more than 30 hours of playtime!
However, this kind of glitch is in no way harmful for the players.
But developers will need to keep working a lot if they want Cyberpunk 2077 to sell more copies in the future.
Upcoming update details for the CDPR title
While there are still inevitable issues in the game, CD Projekt Red is trying its best to fix them as soon as possible.
A recent patch for the 2020’s most hyped release did solve several significant bugs in gameplay and graphical improvements.
Soon, there will be arrivals of important DLCs as well.
In its recent announcement, the Polish developer revealed that Panam would get her downloadable content in the coming months. Given the fact she’s close to V, this decision makes sense.
Players will discover her in an even deeper way, along with her relationship with the protagonist.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One. It will soon make its way on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S as well.
What do you think about the CDPR title?
Will it prove to be worthy of its old hype in the future, with zero issues?
