Following an announcement that sees two of Dragon Ball Z’s beloved characters in their Super Saiyan Blue form, namely Goku and Vegeta, as DLC, leaked snapshot images from the V-Jump magazine display what can be expected when A Power Awaken – Part 2 lands on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta
Shown on the first page is SSJB Vegeta, who appears to perform an advanced level of his signature move, Galick Gun. Which, to coincide with his elevated state of power, is rightfully called “Ultimate Galick Gun.” As per the magazine, this particular move can be supercharged for greater damage output by simply holding a button.
Looking at the bottom area of the first page, Vegeta’s new cool moves get the highlight. One is an energy blast-type special attack called “Ultimate Banish” and another is a melee special attack called “God Speed Fist.” While equally interesting, the latter makes for a greater attention for its unique design as an AoE attack.
Super Saiyan Blue Son Goku
Like Vegeta, Son Goku is another major highlight of the magazine pages, too. As shown in the second page, SSJB Goku depicts his traditional kung-fu outfit. But the real spotlight is the demonstration of his equally empowered special moves.
The top part of the second page shows SSJB Goku flashing his “Ultimate Big Kamehameha” with a massive gush of energy. Which, to those who are versed in the game, finds substance in the damage output and more imposing animation.
Similar to SSJB Vegeta’s new set of killer moves, Goku, too, will have his rendition of the same. It is not certain whether the shared moves will be called the same or not. But it is likely that the execution would just be similar, alluding to the idea of the duo learning the same skills from the same source.
With the two additional moves in addition, it seems that both Goku and Vegeta have learned a deadly combo. Particularly, by chaining God Speed Fist with either of the two’s signature attack, which guarantees hit on a collective group. Especially useful during combat that has a single opponent at any given time.
Coming Soon
While confirmed, Namco Bandai is still tightlipped as to the definitive date of the season pass DLC’s launch. Upon its release, A Power Awakens – Part 2 makes for the second of three DLCs for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
