DC has come out with lots of great gaming titles in recent years. However, when it comes to Superman, then there’s still a long way to go.
Interestingly, a recent Reddit post has reignited the craze among DC fans hoping for a standalone Superman video game.
‘Superman’ demo clip goes viral among the fans.
A homemade Superman demo footage, posted on Reddit, has attracted serious attention from DC fans lately. And despite the clip is very short in duration, it has amassed many views already.
The mini video shows how a modern-day game might look like featuring Kal-El. He is seen taking a flight from the roof of a building.
Unfortunately, there’s been no solid entry based on the Man of Steel regarding DC officials themselves. Yes, he has appeared in Injustice and several other titles, but his campaign never saw the light of day.
In other words, it is pretty shocking not to have a single-player, realistic-looking Superman video game even in 2021.
Yes, he is famous in today’s era as well but in terms of gaming popularity.
On the other hand, his other comic book counterparts, such as Batman and Harley Quinn, are already popular in this arena.
At the moment, there are two big DC entries scheduled to release by next year.
While one is an indirect sequel to the Arkham franchise, Gotham Knights, the other belongs to the villainous team of Suicide Squad. Speaking more precisely than the latter is called Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
Talking about Kal-El, again, then it seems like fans will have to wait longer to witness his solo gameplay debut in his own story.
