Ham Eun Jung of T-ara will appear on the big screen for the first time in three years.
According to the agency of Ham Eun Jung, Cabin 74, the K-pop idol has been cast as the female lead of an upcoming movie with a working title I Will Song.
Lee Sang Hoon will direct I Will Song. The story is about an aspiring singer named Mool Kyul, meeting an aspiring director named Ba Ram by fate.
The upcoming movie cast Goo Won in the role of the male lead, Ba Ram. Meanwhile, the actress plays the character of Mool Kyul.
Eun Jung described Mool Kyul as someone who had music her entire life, then something unexpected happened. She lost her sight of the meaning of life before she officially debuts as a singer.

Message for everyone through the drama
Ham Eun Jung stated that she is excited and, at the same time, nervous to play a character she never played before.
She will work hard to portray her character, Mool Kyul, as someone who overcomes her pain to heal and become filled with hope again.
She is also hoping that the viewers will see and feel the truth in the project. The movie conveys a message to everyone who is suffering.
The director wanted to show also how youth can overcome their scars. Eventually, they will have their courage back with them and chase their dreams rather than falling into deep despair.
The upcoming movie I Will Song will begin filming by mid-October.

Ham Eun Jung is a South Korean songstress who is known as Eunjung and Elsie.
She won Little Miss Korea in 1995 and debuted as a child actress at the age of seven in a television drama. She also debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group T-ara in July 2009.
