Taylor Swift vs. Donald Trump on Twitter
Black American George Floyd’s death caused an intense uproar due to the way the white officer treated him during his arrest. Floyd was cooperative, but the responding officer pinned him on the floor and kneeled on his neck.
Floyd told the officer he couldn’t breathe. However, the latter refused to let Floyd go. The violent arrest caused Floyd’s death, who was later pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
A video of the incident went viral. Protesters gathered seeking justice for Floyd. The protest turned into absolute chaos when the protesters burned the police department in Minneapolis.
So, Donald Trump issued a warning against the protesters to control the protesters. Taylor Swift responded shortly.
“These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!” https://t.co/GDwAydcAOw

The Blank Space singer was very upset about the tweet, especially because of the potential violence involved.
“After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump,” Taylor Swift wrote.
