But this time, Taylor Swift put out a disclaimer that the signed CDs would come with unique, personalized surprises aside from the usual booklets.
In a tweet on Saturday, she wrote that “lucky purchasers” of the items may receive “complimentary cat hair” along with a picture of the signed Folklore albums and her cat.
The 30-year-old pop star also acknowledged that it would come with an underlying scent, such as “the aromatic scent of white wine” because she occasionally spilled her wine glasses as she did her rounds of signing.
Swifties immediately responded to the limited-edition album with complimentary bonuses.
One Twitter user said, “Cat hair in white wine is my favorite essential oil.”
Fans even shared pictures of themselves with their cats.
“I have a new kitten in my family and I named her in honor of Olivia,” another Twitter user said.
Some are excited that they saw one of Taylor’s cats once again.
Taylor hasn’t been shy about sharing photos and videos of her and her cats, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button.
Olivia, whose name is from the lead on Law & Order: SVU, is a Scottish Fold. She is said to be richer than three of the Kardashian sisters, with a $97 million net worth.
This is all thanks to her modeling contract, commercial gigs, and of course, appearing in several music videos.
Olivia is said to be one of the richest pets in the world.
Meanwhile, Meredith Grey, also named after a popular TV show’s star in Grey’s Anatomy, has also starred in some of Taylor’s music videos.
Benjamin is the newest addition to her feline family. He is a Ragdoll, and like the Blank Space singer’s other pets, his name is also from a character.
It is in reference to Brad Pitt’s character in the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Benjamin was featured on the music videos ME, You Need to Calm Down, and Taylor’s Amazon music advertisement.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s latest album, Folklore, has received high praise from fans and critics.
The album debuted on the Billboard 200 chart since its release in July.
Recently, Taylor Swift topped Whitney Houston’s Billboard record, who previously held the record with 46 non-consecutive weeks at number one.
As of late September, Folklore marked its 47th week, with the charts’ most cumulative weeks.
That’s one more week than Houston’s self-titled album.
