Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are allegedly eager to be together and couldn’t wait for a formal ceremony, so they are planning for a low-key wedding.
Taylor Swift has been dating Joe Alwyn for three years already. Several believe that their relationship will eventually end in marriage. One tabloid claimed that the two are already planning a low-key wedding.
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn’s secret wedding
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have been together for quite some time. However, the Grammy winner has kept her romance private, leaving her fans wondering what’s next for the couple.
According to Star magazine, Swift and Alwyn are tying the knot in private.
“Neither of them wants to wait to have a formal ceremony,” an unnamed insider claimed.
“Taylor and Joe are in this together, and this is what they want. They’re very excited.”
The tabloid accompanied the report with a photo of the couple walking hand-in-hand in black tie dress with the caption “low-key vows!”
The photo suggests that Swift and Alwyn are planning to elope for their future family.
Rumor debunked
Gossip Cop debunked the claims about Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn’s low-key wedding and plans to elope.
The rumor-debunking site pointed out the magazine’s questionable reputation. Star also made a similar claim a year ago and was proven wrong.
Also, the tabloid claimed in April that Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were in a race as to who gets married first.
It added that the Blank Space singer “won’t be able to live with herself if her wedding is outdone by Katy.”
Taylor and Katy feud revisited
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were very close, but they had a falling out in 2014. Swift alleged that the Roar singer “tried to sabotage an entire arena tour.”
In 2018, Perry sent an actual olive brand to Swift to end their beef. The Reputation hitmaker shared a video of the package from Perry. It also included a note with the words “miscommunications” and “deeply “sorry.
Also, in 2019, they showed the world that they already mended fences by giving each other a hug. They also dressed as a hamburger and carton of french fries for Swift’s start-studded You Need To Calm Down music video.
“You know … we’ve been on good terms for a while,” Perry said.
“She sent me a really nice note and olive branch … like, an actual olive branch, to my tour, which started … the ‘Reputation’ stadium tour a while ago, and from that point on, we’ve been on good terms.”
