The TCL 10 Plus and TCL 10 SE are TCL’s latest entries in its now-expanding 10 series.
TCL has added two new smartphones to its 10 lineup – TCL 10 Plus and TCL 10 SE. Now official in Russia, the two newest smartphones are aligned under the mid-range segment, sporting top-of-the-line features and familiar design aspirations.
For instance, both devices pack horizontally-aligned cameras on their rear panels. Meanwhile, a dedicated button for Google Assistant on their left edges can be seen.
TCL 10 Plus Specifications
The TCL 10 Plus is built around a 6.47-inch curved AMOLED screen, with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels, plus a waterdrop notch. It is also confirmed that the phone’s screen features support for HDR10 and Always-On display.
Under the hood, there is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 SoC. The phone is also coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM tiers and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage options; the handset is launched with microSD card slot support.
The TCL 10 Plus’ quad-camera setup consists of 48MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors. There is also a 16MP selfie snapper inside its notch.
The handset is listed with a 4,500mAh battery with a Quick Charge 3 feature. Other key features include a dedicated FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and an in-display fingerprint reader.
TCL 10 SE Specifications
The scaled-down sibling of the TCL 10 Plus is the SE variant. It employs a 6.52-inch flat LCD screen, with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. Around the back, the phone sports a triple-camera system, headlined by a 48MP wide camera. The primary camera is then accompanied by 5MP ultrawide and 2MP depth lenses.
On the front, the phone’s waterdrop notch houses an 8MP selfie snapper.
While the TCL 10 SE features a slightly larger display, the phone only houses a smaller battery – settling at a 4,000mAh capacity. Nevertheless, it supports 15W fast wired charging.
Additionally, there is a fingerprint reader on its rear. The device is also home to Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and USB Type-C.
TCL’s latest mid-range smartphones will ship with TCL UI, based on the latest Android 10.
Pricing and availability
The TCL 10 Plus and TCL 10 SE’s pricing is still under wraps at the time of this writing. The same can be said with their availability.
The TCL 10 series, apart from the newly-released mid-range smartphones, now boasts five entries. These also include TCL 10L, TCL 10 Pro, and TCL 10 5G.
