Teresa Guidice allegedly banned their daughter from seeing their dad, her ex-husband, Joe Guidice, in Italy. Check out the truth.
Teresa Guidice and Joe Guidice are officially divorced, but prior to that, last year, there was a report that she didn’t want their daughters to visit him in Italy. Joe and Teresa were allegedly in a “divorce war,” and she was forbidding their kids from their father.
Teresa Guidice allegedly forbid daughters from seeing their dad
Last year, National Enquirer published a report claiming that Teresa Guidice didn’t approve of her daughters flying to Italy to see their dad, Joe. He was deported to his native country after his 41-month stint in prison.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was allegedly “afraid they wouldn’t come back.” The tabloid also quoted an anonymous insider claiming that Teresa had no plans to see her ex-husband and wanted sole custody for their children. The exes share four kids Gia, 19, Gabriella, 16, Milania, 14, Audriana, 11.
“Teresa won’t even consider going with them, she’s too busy with her career and she still blames Joe for getting them into the mess,” the source claimed.
Rumor debunked
Gossip Cop refuted the report because it’s not true. Contrary to what the tabloid claimed, an insider told People, a more reliable source, that the exes were “in an amazing place and are very supportive of one another.”
Also, the banning report was not true at all. In fact, the entire family planned a trip to Italy. Their daughter Gia shared a reunion photo on social media in November.
Moreover, a few months ago, Joe and Teresa’s daughter were supposed to fly to Italy to reunite with their father on Easter. Unfortunately, they were forced to cancel their trip due to the coronavirus pandemic. Also, Italy was hit hard by the pandemic.
Joe was heartbroken over the incident. He took to Instagram and shared his thoughts about their canceled reunion. He felt that special occasions are the hardest without his family, and it feels emptier and less joyful.
“I felt overwhelmed with emotions so I [writing hand emoji]. My heart breaks for anyone who is going through not seeing their kids, wife, parents, or loss,” he wrote.
“This has taught me to be grateful and humbled by all my experiences it reinforced the idea of never taking anything for granted, especially my babies. Happy Easter everyone! Make Memories that last,” he added.
Joe and Teresa after their divorce
Joe Guidice graced an interview with E! News last month, where he talked about his new life in Italy and estranged wife Teresa Guidice after their divorce was finalized. He made it clear that he wasn’t dating yet, and if his ex-wife would go out with another man, it would not be a problem.
“What’s she going to do, stay alone forever? That’s not fair, as well,” he said when asked about Teresa.
