The futuristic, sci-fi TV series, The 100 season 7 pushes through with its premiere date amid the coronavirus threat.
Set in the post-apocalyptic era, The 100 season 7 is said to be entering its finale as the series will not be renewed. Throughout its six seasons, the show-runners have always provided the viewers with thrill, suspense, and excitement as the characters were being shifted from one civilization to another.
Moreover, the killing of characters is never new to the series, hence, for the seventh season, viewers are already hinting some of the cast will not survive. In the previous season, Abby Griffin and Markus Kane both died in the series.

The 100 season 7 is already confirmed to hit the screens on the 20th of May 2020 and will air on both Netflix and CW. The final season is set to have a total of 16 episodes, which is longer than the previous seasons.

There has not been any confirmation from the showrunners about the storyline. However, Rothenberg hinted that the seventh season will create a happy ending for the characters.
The six seasons of The 100 portrayed numerous deaths, many wars, and two world-ending events. Hence for The 100 season 7, the characters will presumably have a place to thrive and live in peace.
What to expect
A new character, Shelby Flannery will be joining the rest of the cast as the grown-up version of Hope. She is the daughter of Charmain Diyoza who used to be a criminal before the Nuclear apocalypse. The 100 Season 7 will focus on the mysterious Anomaly, wherein the grown-up Hope will suddenly appear.
