A few key members of the on-screen superhero team The Avengers reached out to local hero Bridger Walker, showing admiration for the boy’s courageous deed.
Heroes don’t always wear capes or masks, and the world can take a few pages from this 6-year-old’s book after reports have surfaced on the internet of him saving his little sister from a vicious dog. News of the little hero named Bridger Walker was first seen on his aunt’s Instagram post.
Bridger’s aunt, Nikki Walker, praised her nephew’s bravery, announcing, “My nephew is a hero who saved his little sister from an attacking dog. He, himself, took on the attack so that the dog wouldn’t get his sister. He later said, ‘If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me.'”

The boy immediately made headlines and gained social media recognition following his family’s appeals to the netizens to tag the reel-life superheroes on the big screen.
On her original post, Nikki Walker tagged several actors from the Marvel film franchise, in hopes of making her nephew’s act of courage known to the actors.

Real-life superheroes voice admiration for the real-life hero
Your friendly neighborhood superhero was the first to answer the call, as Spider-Man Tom Holland Facetimed Bridger and commended the boy for being “such a brave little kid” and saying he “should be very proud of himself.”
The boy hero was visibly star-struck as Tom invited him to the set of the wall crawler’s next movie, as it turned out that Spider-Man was Bridger’s favorite Avenger.

Captain America actor Chris Evans also hailed Bridger a hero, rewarding him with a replica of Cap’s shield because “he deserves it.” The 6-year-old was wearing his Captain America costume while watching Chris’s video message praising him for his laudable act.

More Avengers show love to the boy wonder
Also among the Marvel superheroes to applaud the little boy’s valiant feat was Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr. The actor who played Tony Stark sent Bridger a video message, saying he heard of what the little boy did and called him “a rockstar.”
And in true Tony Stark fashion, Downey also promised to send a “better” shield than Evans, and a special gift for Bridger’s next birthday.
Tony Stark knows a hero when he sees one.
Robert Downey Jr. sent a message to Bridger, making him a big promise after the boy rescued his little sister — and it’s good to see Captain America and Iron Man still going at it.
