‘The Batman’: Everything you need to know

A new report from Deadline recently revealed that the Warner Bros. title is close to the end of its filming. And that mid-March may finish it.

Talking about The Batman film itself, then it went into production last year. Initially, a mini teaser of Robert Pattinson was wearing a new version of the superhero’s costume.

But it was during 2020’s DC FanDome when everyone got hyped about the Matt Reeves project. Because the virtual event revealed an unexpected teaser trailer, blowing the minds of everyone.

The series of those back-to-back punches are still fresh in the memories of many viewers!

Hardcore comic book lovers and the critics appreciated the early look of Pattinson as Bruce Wayne and in his costumed avatar.

Since then, people are curiously waiting for The Batman and its release.

The pandemic did play a spoilsport last year when it resulted in a considerable delay. As a result that, makers had to change the official release date of the movie.

When it comes to the cast, it also stars Paul Dano as The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, and Colin Farrell as The Penguin. Andy Serkis will also appear as Bruce’s butler, the one and only Alfred Pennyworth.

Upcoming DC movies in the future

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. is working on many superhero projects at the moment. Despite the COVID-19 impact, it’s trying to manage the already announced titles somehow.

Speaking of upcoming and awaited films under the DC label, there will be The Suicide Squad, The Flash, Shazam 2, and Aquaman 2. The latter is expected to start filming this summer.

Furthermore, there is the Dwayne Johnson-starrer Black Adam movie as well. The famous enemy of Shazam! will make his live-action debut soon.

At the end of last year, Warner Bros. also revealed that the third part of Wonder Woman is already in the works. It will once again reunite the duo of director Patty Jenkins and actress Gal Gadot. She will reprise her iconic role of Diana.

Coming back to The Batman, currently, it’s scheduled to come out next year, on March fourth. If the virus situation remains in control, somehow, then it should eventually arrive on this date.
