Karl Urban has trouble choosing between The Boys season 2 and Thor 4.
Karl Urban could be leaving either The Boys season 2 or Thor 4 soon. As much as the former Star Trek wants to, he cannot do both high-profile projects this year. This is because the projects’s schedules could largely overlap with each other.
Once Thor 4 goes into production, the New Zealand-based actor may no longer be available for the Marvel film. This is because he will be busy with promotional activities for the Amazon Prime Video series.
The Boys season 2 reportedly finished filming
While Karl Urban ponders on his Thor 4 involvement, The Boys season 2 is already on its post-production stage. The show reportedly went into filming immediately after Amazon Prime Video renewed it last year.
According to a report, You’re the Worst star Aya Cash will join the show for the second season. She will play Stormfront, who has the power of electrical and weather manipulation.
In the comics, Stormfront is a male superhero with neo-Nazi political beliefs. It is unknown if Amazon Prime Video will follow the character’s backstory from the source material.
canceling plans is ok. sticking bombs up invisible arseholes is ok. motivating the team with a Spice Girls speech is ok. wielding a laser-blasting baby is ok. punching psychics in the bathroom is ok. abandoning your friends for revenge is ok. do what you need to do to cope, mate.

The Boys becomes a huge hit for Amazon Prime Video
Just like most streamers, Amazon Prime Video does not release official viewing figures for its programs. The service did say that they commissioned The Boys season 2 because of its impressive streaming numbers.
Third-party data firm Nielsen recently disclosed an estimated 8 million people watched the show in its first ten 10 days. This makes it one of the most successful TV shows on the Amazon Prime Video platform.
Thor 4 script finished
Karl Urban has to decide his involvement with Thor 4 soon. The Marvel movie is already undergoing script re-writes. This means director Taika Waititi could begin principal photography as soon as the pandemic is over.
In an Instagram Live, the Oscar-winning director confirmed that the script is in its fifth round of re-writes. Based on how he described it, it looks like Thor: Love and Thunder will be as crazy as Thor: Ragnarok.
It’s so over the top now in the very best way. It makes Ragnarok seem like a really run of the mill, very safe film…this new film feels like we asked a bunch of 10 year olds what should be in a movie and just said yes to everything.
A report says that he also promised fans that there will be more about Korg culture in the movie. He said that the movie will tackle some “cultural specificities” of the alien race.
Thor 4 will be in cinemas on Friday, November 5, 2021. It will star Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman. The Marvel project will be the second MCU series to reach four installments after Avengers.
