The Chi season 3 episode 2 titled “Brewfurd” left viewers very curious about Keisha’s disappearance. She went missing in the first episode after waiting for her boyfriend Nock by the bus stop.
That was the last time she was seen and in episode 2, Nina and Dre started to get more worried.
The Chi episode 2 is considered to be the actual start of the season. And the show clearly kicked off with tension through Keisha’s disappearance.
Fans may recall that Kevin promised his sister not to tell Nina and Dre where she was going. But he started freaking out so he texted her friends via her computer to ask if they’ve heard from her.
Nina started realizing what was going on though so she went to her school with Dre. It was unlikely for Keisha to miss classes even if she’s avoiding home.
But her teachers have no idea either where she was. The school principal also informed the newlyweds that Keisha has been missing a lot of classes lately. Kev started to get worried about his sister so he cornered her friend Malaysia.
He eventually gets the name of Keisha’s new boyfriend, Nock, who turns out to be a member of the 63rd Street Mob. The cops dismiss Nina’s worries for Keisha by saying that she probably ran away with the guy.
But Dre isn’t convinced and decided to take action. She uses Keisha’s laptop to track her phone, which led her to the underpass where Ronnie has been living.
Ronnie did not give any information other than saying he last saw Keisha at the bus stop. It just made Dre furious and demanded to give back the phone of the girl.
The phone was eventually returned to Dre but it was useless. It was beyond repair, which means they won’t be able to get any information out from it.
“If I find out you had something to do with this,” Dre warns Ronnie, “I’m going to come back here and kill you myself.”
Nina and Dre returned to the cops but Kevin tried to handle things his way. He calls Papa and Jake to accompany him to Nock. Things didn’t turn out well though as they only provoked Nock who said that Keisha wasn’t with him.
He pulls a gun on Kev when he tried to push his way in. Kev is fearless though and demands to see his sister.
In the newly released promo for episode 3, the search for Keisha continues. Her family has started a vigil for her and it’s mentioned that Keisha has been missing for seven days already.
And if they don’t find her soon, there’s a chance that she’s no longer alive. The promo ended showing a restless Ronnie. Does he really know something?
Fans will have to watch The Chi season 3 episode 3 on Sunday, July 5 on Showtime.
