The concept artist hints towards a new Naughty Dog game!

There’s good news for all Naughty Dog fans out there. A concept artist just revealed that the studio is already working on a new title!

According to Gamesradar, a concept artist, Nam, recently shared the artwork on ArtStation. He says that a new game from Naughty Dog inspires it.

The artist mentions that an upcoming project inspires his concept art.

“Inspired from the new game,” read the description on the ArtStation page of Nam’s account.

“You know what I’m talking about…”

Naughty Dog: What’s next after The Last of Us?

Well, if it’s true, then it’s fantastic news, especially for all die-hard lovers of the studio. Because it also brought The Last of Us titles in the past. 2020 saw the release of the second installment in the iconic franchise. However, it also generated a significant controversy due to its unexpected twist for the main protagonist Ellie.

Coming back to Naughty Dog and its new IP, then it may be the case that the developer is already working on it. And now it is maybe trying to keep things confidential before an official announcement. That’s the norm for all the famous studios across the globe. But some way of the other, leaks and key information manage to come out in public. And the same thing has happened with this news and the reveal of another title by the concept artist.

Since The Last of Us 2 came out, there’s been no word from the developer regarding its future projects.

However, its co-president Neil Druckmann gave a few hints when he recently posted job openings. And that’s obvious to understand why.

Now talking about the concept art itself, it seems like the next IP will be a fantasy game or something similar to that. That is visible from the costumes and environment depicted in the artwork.

Upcoming video game titles in 2021

Meanwhile, there’s a lot of things happening in the world of games. And this year will once again witness massive releases. While 2020 saw the arrival of CDPR’s Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us 2 from Naughty Dog, and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, this year will also give out great surprises. With Resident Evil Village, Halo Infinite, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Horizon Forbidden West, the stage is set.

But that’s not the end!

The list gets even more extended with anticipated games like God of War: Ragnarok, Far Cry 6, Gotham Knights, and The Medium. Death loop, GhostWire: Tokyo, Returnal, Humankind, Monster Hunter Rise, Gran Turismo 7, Riders Republic, Back 4 Blood, Cyber Shadow, and STALKER 2 are a few more to add to this list.
