Another post-outbreak open-world MMO game is arriving soon. Fantastic just revealed the official announcement trailer for The Day Before.
According to Dualshockers, a gameplay-filled announcement trailer of The Day Before was just released on Thursday. It’s made by the Russian developing studio Fantastic. Simply put, the trailer will remind the gamers of The Last of Us and The Division titles, for sure. Although, the first impression is impressive, haunting, and genuinely realistic as well.
The gameplay clip showcases 9th gen visuals with sharp details.
Everything you need to know about “The Day Before”
Although the love for massively multiplayer online (MMO) games is less, The Day Before might change that. It will also remind the players of zombies in a post-apocalyptic world since it follows a tried-and-tested theme. But the announcement trailer displays a great environment, especially when it comes to visuals. The atmosphere seems intense and dark. The gameplay video will give some idea to those who might opt for it upon the launch.
Since it’s a multiplayer open-world game, as the protagonist, you will have to stay alert and aware each minute because not all the strangers you see or meet will be nice to you, as per the developer. So you will need to have strong reflections and sharp senses while playing The Day Before.
Being an online title will also enable you to team up with friends while exploring a vast city. The zombies and survivalists are the only main residents! The third-person view will allow you to better look at your character as you pick new clothes, weapons, and inventory during your mission progression.
In its first glimpse, The Day Before really stands out due to the shadows and picture quality. Textures and lighting are also brilliant to watch out in the night time in the announcement trailer’s gameplay.
Video games coming in 2021
Meanwhile, there are a lot of other amazing titles slated to release this year. 2020 was filled with huge blockbusters such as The Last of Us Part 2, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ghost of Tsushima, and Cyberpunk 2077. And gamers are hoping for a similar result for 2021 as well.
January did bring a big surprise for all the gamers as Hitman 3 launched worldwide. It’s receiving great reviews and reactions already. Coming months will witness the arrivals of anticipated “AAA” titles like Resident Evil Village, Horizon Forbidden West, and The Medium. Far Cry 6, Gotham Knights, Back 4 Blood, Halo Infinite, Returnal, and STALKER 2 are also awaited names.
Coming back to The Day Before, then there’s no information about its launch date. But as of now, it’s eying a PC debut on Steam.
