Now that almost everyone knows about the Dead Space remake, some fans will be wondering what to expect from it.
Well, there’s good news about those who were afraid to hear any news on microtransactions in yet another Dead Space because the remake won’t have them at all!
‘Dead Space’ remake early details.
Following the reveal of the remake via a very brief teaser trailer, EA Motive’s Producer Phil Ducharme talked to various media outlets.
In one of the interviews, Ducharme said that the dev team is closely observing the past entries in the series. And they are learning from the big mistakes that those games committed.
He mentioned that the Dead Space remake would use various components from the first and second entries. However, it won’t include the aspect of microtransactions just like those two had.
And if you are wondering what’s the big deal about it, then fans didn’t like the idea of microtransactions at all!
Ducharme said that EA Motive would try to revamp the upcoming remake while keeping the essence of the original.
Specifically highlighting microtransactions, he said that the new title wouldn’t have them.
Dead Space 3 was perhaps the worst game in the franchise when it was initially released because the weapon system was designed to push them towards microtransactions.
Talking about the franchise history, then the original Dead Space came out thirteen years ago.
The game was set soon in the 23rd century, in the year 2508. Players took on the role of Isaac Clarke from a third-person perspective. They solved physics-based problems within the environment.
During the progress, players go against deadly alien monsters, also known as Necromorphs.
