Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, director of The Witcher 3, resigned from CD Projekt RED, despite coming out clear in the bullying investigation.
Tomaszkiewcz worked on the 2015 blockbuster CDPR title, The Witcher 3. Recently he was involved in an investigation related to workplace bullying.
The director, however, didn’t come out as guilty.
‘The Witcher 3’ director leaves CDPR.
Despite coming out clean in the case, Konrad Tomaszkiewcz decided to resign from his post and the Polish company.
He said that it’s “for all the bad blood I have caused.”
The developer also acknowledged that there were people who didn’t feel comfortable working with the director.
And thus, Mr. Tomaszkiewcz chose to leave while apologizing to those who felt uneasy because of him.
Apart from The Witcher 3, he helped in expanding Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
Moreover, he also worked on CDPR’s first two Witcher installments. Plus, he was the second director and head of the production on Cyberpunk 2077 as well.
Speaking of the developer itself then its work environment always remained at the center of criticism for years.
While making its developers ‘crunch’ was entirely highlighted, problems of workplace bullying were also evident.
Glassdoor reviews for CDPR revealed various bullying matters years ago. There was a lot of criticism also from those who posted their opinions on the portal.
Interestingly, these issues emerged even before the time of The Witcher 3‘s launch.
Hopefully, the company will now look forward to rectifying each problem within.

CD Projekt RED and the many growing controversies!
It can be called a series of misfortunes, but there’s something wrong with CD Projekt RED since the last year.
Ever since it announced Cyberpunk 2077 and began working on it, there have been multiple controversies.
Whether it’s about constant, extended delays or making its developers go into an ‘overdrive‘ mode, the attack and criticism have only increased, especially after August 2020.
The Polish developer made lots of mistakes, continuously.
Firstly, it never showed transparency regarding making the point clear on Cyberpunk 2077 and its status. And when it launched eventually, it was more or less a disastrous arrival!
Yes, the sales are good, bringing in more money, but it seems like a vast opportunity missed for CD Projekt RED.
Many players suffered due to the problem of lousy gameplay and inevitable glitches.
If that wasn’t enough, the studio then faced another challenging situation earlier this year when a hacking group attacked its servers.
Furthermore, it claimed that it stole vital information associated with many of its games.
