“Game of Thrones: The Board Game”
A Game of Thrones is a “top-selling” strategy board game. Released by Fantasy Flight Games in 2003, Christian T. Petersen created the game.
The board game is based on the fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. Furthermore, the board game is followed by expanding A Clash of Kings in 2004 and A Storm of Swords in 2006.
The board game A Game of Thrones, however, allows players to acquire the roles of many Great Houses challenging to administer the Seven Kingdoms.
The game, however, is set after the death of King Robert Baratheon. This game allows each player to presume the role of one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms to seek and assault King’s Landing and ultimately claim the Iron Throne.
Nonetheless, the roles include House Stark, House Lannister, House Baratheon, House Greyjoy, House Tyrell, and House Martell, as per the expansion A Clash of Kings.
To catch enough help to guarantee the Iron Throne, the players move armed forces to help different districts that include the Seven Kingdoms.
The fundamental gameplay logistics of the game are suggestive of Diplomacy, particularly in the request giving cycle.
