The Kissing Booth 3 has been confirmed, and it will be coming out next year.
The Kissing Booth is a hit on Netflix. The romantic-comedy film was the most-watched movie in 2018. On July 24, the production company released its second installment, The Kissing Booth 2, and it topped the most-watched list on Netflix over the weekend.

According to Deadline, the main stars Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney have already filmed the final installment, and it’s already in post-production.
King revealed the big news during a live stream fan event. The cast secretly filmed the upcoming sequel along with The Kissing Booth 2 in South Africa, and it will be ready for release in 2021.
“It was the hardest secret to keep,” Courtney said about keeping the third installment a secret during the live event on Sunday.
What to expect in the next movie?
The Kissing Booth 3 will pick up where the recent movie left. The Kissing Booth 2 ended in a cliffhanger with fans looking forward to Elle’s (King) decision on where school to go for college.
Initially, Elle and Lee (Courtney), the childhood best friends, agreed that they would attend Berkeley together. It was one of their rules that they would attend the same school in college.
However, Elle seemed to have a change of heart when her boyfriend Noah (Elordi), Lee’s big brother, asked her to join him at Harvard.
The film revealed that Elle’s college application was accepted in both schools. Thus, she has to choose between the two important men in her life, her best friend and boyfriend.
Kissing Booth 2 better than the first one
Joel Courtney, who plays as Lee, Elle’s childhood best friend, and Noah’s younger brother, finds the sequel better than the first movie.
“I just think that we really came into our characters in more of a powerful way in the second film, because we knew the characters, we already had history with these characters,” Courtney said as quoted by Los Angeles Times.
“We had history with each other. I think that it really allowed for more depth of character and character building. And then on set, there was a comfortability.”
