The Latest ‘Returnal’ trailer showcases its deadly creatures

Share

PS5 exclusive Returnal just received a brand new “Hostiles” trailer. And this time, the footage reveals the game’s deadly creatures.

The latest trailer showcases all different types of creatures in Returnal. The two-minute clip gives a sneak peek about what to expect when it comes to facing fatal battles.

‘Returnal’ new trailer details

Developer Housemarque Games shared the fresh footage to give the players an idea about the Hostiles.

The protagonist will be facing a streak of deadly creatures in Returnal. And it seems evident after watching the new trailer.

The game’s story takes place on an unknown planet on which the only survivor will be the human named Selene. Every time she dies on this planet, there will be a considerable shift in the landscape.

Although this planet will also bring her back to life, dangerous situations will still keep arising.

Various creatures rule this unknown planet, and players will need to fight them to stay alive.

Recently, Housemarque Games developer Developer Greg Louden shared his thoughts about what to expect from the title.

He also briefly explained the mechanics of the game while playing solo.

“As shown in our trailer, Selene also discovers her scout corpses across Atropos. These corpses can feature projections of other players’ deaths (via our online systems), or Scout Audio Logs that are left behind by other versions of Selene, that she cannot remember recording.”

New video games coming in 2021

Meanwhile, there will be lots of fresh releases for die-hard gamers looking for multiple options in the coming months.

Speaking of options, then some of the most-awaited potential blockbusters are Resident Evil Village, Halo Infinite, and STALKER 2.

God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, a new Call of Duty entry, Far Cry 6, and Dying Light 2 are also highly anticipated.

But that’s not it!

The line-up extends further with Stray, Deathloop, Back 4 Blood, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and New World.

Humankind, Biomutant, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, GhostWire: Tokyo, No More Heroes 3, and Psychonauts 2 are other crucial launches.

Several recently announced games to make their debuts soon are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories. The latter will be interesting for the players because it will feature a Cat, named Biscuit as the primary protagonist.

Coming back to Returnal, again, then it will be releasing on April 30th for PlayStation 5.
