The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is a huge break away from the things that fans of the franchise have come to know and love. For The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2, those missing things are making a comeback in grander form.
Fans have a lot of speculations about The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2, but most of them talk about how previous entries will inspire the sequel deeply. From time traveling to the return of Ganondorf, fans are almost certain that a lot of beloved tropes are coming back, including some familiar bosses.
Series bosses making a return?
In the reveal trailer for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, cave paintings reveal Ganondorf standing over a strong army. Die-hard fans of the series believe that this signifies how the villain will resurrect a new army to guide his cause in the next game.
This makes previous series bosses like Gohma, Volvagia, Koloktos, and many others, a possibility. For fans of the franchise, this would be a welcome addition as the previous games from the franchise have always been inspired by their predecessors.
Their comeback in The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 also opens the possibilities for even more creative boss battles. The boss battles from the recent entry were praised for being fun and creative, but fans have since commented that boss battles from games like Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask were far better. Adding more variety to the boss list will make the sequel even better.
Large-scale boss battles
Fans have also speculated that large-scale boss battles are going to be present in the sequel. In The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Nintendo was able to showcase such a feature during the last battle with Sacred Beast Ganon.
Nintendo is most likely to take advantage of the Switch’s processing power once again by adding large scale battles to the sequel. With creatures like the Dodongo and Volvagia possibly coming back, there’s more reason for the developers to pit Link against large creatures in an epic battle.
The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 is mostly shrouded in mystery for now, so players can’t help but think about their speculations for it. Hopefully, the developers get to a reveal soon as fans are anxious to see just how well they will improve the sequel.
