“The Mandalorian 2” and its great surprises
In the ultimate episode, we saw how Din Djarin, a.k.a. our beloved Mando hunted down the Imperial light cruiser. It was carrying the captive Grogu (Baby Yoda). Djarin finally beats Moff Gideon and kills him (this time for real).
Chapter 16 of The Mandalorian 2 also showed the desperation of Bo-Katan Kryze for the Darksaber as she really wanted to wield it. However, after Din Djarin defeated Gideon and took it in his hands, it was revealed that he’s now the master of it. Because whoever wins it in a battle becomes worthy of the powerful weapon.
On “The Rescue” mission, Mando is also accompanied by Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Cara Dune, and Katan’s assist Koska Reeves.
Although the finale was great, the big bomb dropped when Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker made a last-moment appearance. It was unexpectedly shocking to witness that scene. Grogu, The Mandalorian, and Skywalker were all in one frame! No one saw it coming, literally.
And then we got to know how the actual timeline will work in the future Star Wars TV shows. It’s going to be a vastly expanded and interconnected universe.
What’s next in the future of Star Wars?
Meanwhile, after that shocking Mark Hamill cameo, die-hard followers must be feeling curious and excited for sure. They can’t imagine what more lies in store for them in the upcoming Disney Plus titles.
Recently, during the Disney Investor Day event, the makers announced a huge line-up of Star Wars-based shows. Along with the third season of Mandalorian, titles like Lando and Andor will also join the universe. Then there’s the Boba Fett spin-off show that just got officially revealed. Star Wars The Bad Batch, and an Obi-Van Kenobi series are the other future projects that will arrive in the next two years.
Disney’s streaming service is ready for a big collection of exciting and adventurous shows in the iconic saga.
Coming back to The Mandalorian 2, then you can again stream it right now. It’s still available on Disney Plus if you couldn’t get enough of Grogu or Mando.
