MCU is very popular, but it seems like WandaVision isn’t big enough compared to The Mandalorian when it comes to Disney Plus shows.
According to Comicbook, Star Wars‘ The Mandalorian is more popular than the MCU series WandaVision. Although it’s all over the internet, the bounty hunter and Baby Yoda are still in demand! On the other hand, the Elizabeth Olsen-Paul Bettany starrer show is gradually becoming a hit.
“The Mandalorian” more extensive than “WandaVision”?
A new report revealed that The Mandalorian is still highly popular among its Disney+ competitors. Despite the beginning of MCU content with WandaVision, it has managed to engage the audience.
Parrot Analytics shared the news recently that the Star Wars series comes second on the most desired shows to stream. At the same time, Marvel Studios’ entry ended up in the third position. It tells how much the viewers are in love with Baby Yoda and Din Djarin’s story.
Overall, the first rank belongs to Netflix’s Cobra Kai, a spin-off series.
As per Parrot Analytics, the MCU series is 60 times more desirable. On the other hand, The Mandalorian is 63.1 times more desirable. All in all, Cobra Kai tops the list as it is 65.3 times more desirable.
“WandaVision climbed one spot up the rankings this week. It finally knocked Stranger Things out of the top 3 digital originals,” says the report.
“While demand for this Disney+ original was up by 21% this week, it was still unable to unseat either The Mandalorian or Cobra Kai.”
Upcoming Disney Plus titles
Meanwhile, two of the Disney+ series made it to the most desirable list of shows proves the platform’s popularity. Since its launch in 2019, the streaming service has jumped up a lot in worldwide popularity.
After The Mandalorian, fans were waiting for a new line-up filled with fresh content. And the wait ended with 2021’s release of an MCU entry. WandaVision is also the first installment in phase four of the cinematic universe. However, it won’t remain the only title on Disney Plus right because the platform will soon become overloaded with a collection of big names.
In March, Falcon and the Winter Soldier will make its debut, and then there are other future projects. Under Marvel, there is Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Loki, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, and Secret Invasion. The list is extended further with the likes of Ironheart and the Wakanda series.
When it comes to the Star Wars universe, recent titles include The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Other anticipated projects are Rangers of the New Republic, Andor, The Bad Batch, and Lando. The third season of The Mandalorian is also on the way.
