One of the things that Favreau points out that most of the series’ characters are wearing masks and don’t show their faces on screen. Furthermore, the actors are not required to be on set at all times because the scenes are shot using VR backdrops.
In an interview with Variety, Favreau shares information on how the filming operates. He said:
“We’re operating under the assumption that we’ll be able to go forward. We’re in very small situations and oftentimes we have a lot of characters in masks. And we also have a lot of digital work that augments things. So we’re a show that’s probably well-equipped to be flexible based on the protocols that are emerging surrounding work restarting.”
Season 3 will feature the character of Star Wars Rebels’ Ezra Bridger
When season one finally ended, people have been speculating on the character of Ezra Bridger to join the series. Although nothing is confirmed yet, Disney is, reportedly, casting the role.
