Episode recap
The latest to be eliminated from The Masked Singer season 3 episode 15 is Kitty. It turns out the singer behind the mask is American classical crossover singer Jackie Evancho.
The clues linked to her included pirates, Christmas and her connection with one of the panelists. Evancho previously sang the national anthem at a Pittsburgh Pirates game.
She also released multiple Christmas albums and attended a Christmas tree lighting with Robin Thicke. In the end, she had to say goodbye to the final four, Frog, Rhino, Night Angel, and Turtle.
Turtle clues
The top performer of the night of May 6 episode was none other than Turtle who sang a perfect rendition of Coldplay’s “Fix You.”
Fans of the show have been suspecting that the voice behind Turtle is Jesse McCartney. Their intuition even became more heightened after McCartney posted on his Instagram account a video of himself singing his new tune “Yours.”
Fans were quick to find the similarity to the voice of McCartney and Turtle. They even flooded his comments section with the turtle emoji.
The Instagram video is not the only evidence that the Internet detectives have. As revealed through Turtle’s weekly clue packages, the surfboard, burgers, the amount $10.13 and Korean city Seoul may have something to do with McCartney’s career.
The surfboard is said to be in reference to the 33-year old singer’s appearance in the teen drama series Summerland. It could also be his surfboard award from Teen Choice Award.
As for the $10.13 price tag, it could be McCartney’s initials by connecting the two numbers to the alphabet. Letter “J” is the 10th alphabet while the letter “M” is the 13th alphabet.
The burgers may have something to do with the famous burger company Linda McCartney’s. The last but not the least clue is Seoul which may be in reference to the song “Beautiful Soul.”
