In celebration of the Star Wars Day, several Star Wars title is coming on Disney Plus on May 4.
Streaming platforms have grown so much since the beginning of social distancing directives and community lockdowns. Since people are forced to stay at home, they have no choice but to stream films and series in order to keep themselves entertained.
In an attempt to draw more subscribers, streaming channels are doubling their efforts to improve their streaming library. Case in point, Disney Plus has just announced new shows that will be coming to its library earlier than expected.
What’s coming on Disney Plus
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will begin streaming on Disney Plus two months earlier than previously scheduled. The final film in the Skywalker Saga will drop on the fourth of May in celebration of Star Wars Day.

With this addition to Disney Plus, fans will be able to stream all nine films in George Lucas’s Skywalker saga in one place. This is happening for the first time ever. Moreover, Disney Plus has slated May 4 for the release of The Mandalorian.
Even the series finale of animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars are included as well. Along with the new content, Disney plans to update the artwork on Disney Plus for its Star Wars movies and shows.

They will use original concept paintings from a variety of artists who have worked on the series, including Ralph McQuarrie and Doug Chiang. Furthermore, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the final chapter of the the Skywalker Saga. It began with A New Hope in 1977 and spans nine episodic films.
The Rise of Skywalker was released in theaters in December 2019 and went on to generate more than $1 billion in worldwide box office sales. The film has also garnered several Academy Awards nomination for Best Original Score, Best Visual Effects, and Best Sound Editing.

Daisy Ridley stars as Rey, the last Jedi to train under the legendary Luke Skywalker. Meanwhile Academy Award nominee Adam Driver reprises his role as Kylo Ren, a Sith lord seeking to conquer the galaxy.

Disney Plus is one of the on-demand streaming services currently in the market. An annual subscription costs $69.99 per year, while a monthly subscription is priced at $6.99. The subscription service offers access to a growing collection of movies and TV shows.
It also includes original content developed exclusively for Disney Plus. In addition, it has ad-free streaming and unlimited downloads for a mix of classic titles from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and 20th Century Fox.
