The size of ‘Resident Evil Village’ finally revealed

Share

The upcoming Resident Evil Village title will be quite big, if not very big. The new reveal just confirmed the total size of the Capcom game.

Listings on Microsoft Store just gave an idea regarding the size of Resident Evil Village. For Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, the game will take up around 50.02 GB of storage.

The Capcom title is going to be released soon in the next two months.

‘Resident Evil Village’: Everything you need to know

Now that there’s an official confirmation of the size for Xbox consoles, gamers can expect similar things for other platforms as well.

Comparing it with Resident Evil 7, then Resident Evil Village is definitely larger. In fact, it’s double the size of the 2017 Capcom title.

But that’s quite evident to expect. Because each year, graphics also improve with huge technological advancements.

However, when it comes to the entire size after installation, including DLCs, it will be interesting to see how far RE 8 goes.

Speaking of the game itself, then Resident Evil Village has already created a huge buzz around it. Whether it’s the horrific environment or Lady Dimitrescu, early demos have kept the fans curious.

They will hope to get very scared since that’s what the series is all about.

New video games in 2021

Meanwhile, gamers never settle with few options or titles. And just like 2020’s huge names like Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us 2, this year is also packed with many heavyweights.

The new year began with a bang with Hitman 3, The Medium, and Valheim.

However, upcoming months will introduce a spectacular slate of new launches.

When it comes to the most-anticipated games of 2021, there is Horizon Forbidden West, Halo Infinite, and a new COD entry. Far Cry 6, Deathloop, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Back 4 Blood, Gotham Knights, and God of War: Ragnarok are other awaited games.

But that’s not everything!

The line-up gets stretched further with the likes of Bravely Default 2, Returnal, GhostWire: Toyko, Balan Wonderworld, Psychonauts 2, and Stray. No More Heroes 3, Humankind, Maquette, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Riders Republic, Solar Ash, and Cyber Shadow are other upcoming arrivals.

Few other names to be released are Biomutant, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, Oddworld: Soulstorm, New World, STALKER 2, and Mundaun.

Some newly announced games to launch are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories. The latter will be quite interesting to witness since it will feature a Cat as a protagonist, named Biscuit!

Coming back to Resident Evil Village, the Capcom title is slated to launch on May seventh. It will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
