A new political era is said to emerge after Donald Trump won the presidency. As celebrities may begin to take their chances at the White House, will Kim Kardashian and Meghan Markle run?
There have been rampant rumors that Kim Kardashian may run for the top office. Also, royal author Lady Colin Campbell boldly claims that Meghan Markle is eyeing the United States’ highest position, which is said to be the reason why she left the United Kingdom.
Kim K’s alleged presidential bid
Rumors emerged that Kanye West’s wife is eyeing to run as the U.S. President after she secured a pardon for Alice Johnson.
“She’s ready to make the transition into someone who is a genuine contender for either 2020 or 2024,” an alleged insider said.
However, Gossip Cop shut down the claim, insisting there is no truth about it. In an interview with the New York Times, she even denied the assumptions.
“It would be probably the most stressful job in the world,” she said. “I don’t think that’s for me.”
“I guess never say never, but that’s not going to be like a ‘Kim’s running!'” she explained. “That’s not where I’m, what I’m going for. I just want to help, starting one person at a time.”
Duchess of Sussex’s alleged plan for office
Campbell, a known British personality, also claimed Meghan Markle is planning to run as the next President of the U.S. According to Express, she said Prince Harry’s wife has political ambitions, and the decision to move to Los Angeles is part of her political plan.
The couple is, allegedly, getting the help of Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney to give them some advice for the former actress’ plan to run for office.
To recall, after the Sussexes completed their final duties as fulltime working senior royals in March, they left the U.K. to go to Canada. When they officially stepped down on March 31, they then moved to L.A.
Gossip Cop also debunked this outrageous claim, explaining they moved to the U.S. to escape the British press. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted to live a more private life away from the spotlight and not to join U.S. politics. Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney also reportedly confirmed that they have no plans to get into politics.
