The Twilight Zone is returning to the small screen for its second season. Fans have been waiting for the anthology reboot series and now it’s finally ready to drop.
The Twilight Zone fans have to wait no more. Its second season is all set to premiere already.
The upcoming American anthology is a reboot to the original 1959 series created by Rod Serling. It first premiered in April 2019 on CBS All Access. And before it could even finish all its 10 episodes, the show was renewed.

When will season 2 be available to watch?
As detailed in reports, The Twilight Zone season 2 will drop exclusively on HBO GO on June 25. It will not be following the weekly release format like in season 1.
Instead, the entire second season will be available on the video-on-demand streaming service. Season 2 comes with a total of 10 episodes just like its predecessor.
The entire first season is also available to watch on the streaming platform for those who need to catch up.
Is there a trailer?
One of the season 2 promos of the series was dropped last week. It’s different from season 1 as it not only showed a montage of the scenes but it also featured producer and host Jordan Peele.
It still has that creepy and uncanny feel to it though, making fans even more excited to watch what the anthology has to offer in the new season.

Who is in the cast?
Oscar-winner Peele is going to be joined by a stellar ensemble cast. The lineup includes Morena Baccarin, Damon Wayans Jr., Kylie Bunbury, Daniel Sunjata, Jenna Elfman, Jurnee Smollett, Ethan Embry, Jimmi Simpson, Sky Ferreira, Billy Porter, Tavi Gevinson and many more.
Women’s Murder Club actress Paula Newsome also appears in one of the episodes. And as noted in the CBSN Pittsburgh report, Newsome is excited to have people watch her episode.
Apparently, she grew up being a fan of Rod Serling’s original series. Aside from that, she has been admiring Peele’s work as well.
“It was something that I used to watch when I was a little kid,” said Newsome in an interview with CBS Local’s DJ Sixsmith.
The Barry star plays as a pastor in a small town in her episode. She is part of a community that is brought together because of some miraculous and tragic events.

“For this one, it was amazing to go back in time and the town that we shot it in was truly back in time,” Newsome shared. “It was in the bowels of Canada and you wouldn’t have known it was a town if you drove past it. Jumping into the world was like jumping into another world.”
Newsome will appear in the episode along with Wayans Jr., David Krumholtz and Natalie Martinez. And just like how it has always been with The Twilight Zone, her episode will come with important life lessons.
