Here is another reason for ARMYs to celebrate! South Korea’s world sensation, the Bangtan Boys, took 24 spots in this week’s South Korea’s 100 most popular music videos!
The newly released BTS hit, Permission To Dance becomes one of the 24 BTS songs that made the top 100 list for South Korea’s most-watched music videos this week. This indicates that the septet has been the most popular on the site.
‘Permission to Dance’ is the new deal!
BTS’s new music video, Permission To Dance, debuted at No. 1 on YouTube’s weekly charts. It was the most viewed video on YouTube in the entire world, with 152,000,000 views in its first seven days. The treatment is unsurprisingly at the top in South Korea’s most viewed music videos, with millions of more views than any other.
Many of the band’s most beloved videos have been relegated to the top of South Korean YouTube videos. Fans continued to play the uploads after the last one ended. Their previous music video, Butter, has risen to No 2. This allows them to hold the highest peak simultaneously.
The group takes half the top 10 spots on South Korea’s weekly charts. Their most recent video and one just a few short weeks ago are joined at No 7 and No 10 by 2020 global smash Dynamite. Two performance videos featuring the recent single Butter land at Nos 5 and 10.
Do you love ‘Butter’?
BTS’s Butter video has become a huge hit on YouTube, particularly in their home country. The treatment is getting hundreds of thousands of views per week. Every time they perform the pop hit on TV or in live settings, they upload the video onto their page. It has become a huge success.
Butter has been linked to 10% of the top-viewed YouTube music videos in South Korea this week. This includes the original visual or a performance clip as well as many remixes.
With this song and video, BTS once again proved its power and popularity in South Korea. BTS has claimed more spots on South Korea’s weekly charts than any other group, and this song (and video!) has been a testament to their power and immense popularity in the country.
