Netflix seems to be interested in sharing new details on The Witcher. This time it’s Freya Allan, aka Ciri from season 2.
The official Twitter account for The Witcher revealed Ciri’s new costume look on Tuesday.
A day before, we saw Geralt’s first set photos from the next season. They showed actor Henry Cavill sporting a new armor.
Sharing the pictures of Princess Cirilla/Ciri holding her wooden training blade on Monday, the official tweet.
She gave tearful goodbyes
on a most violent night.

The place at which Ciri is seen in the photos is Kaer Morhen. This is where is she’s been training. It’s Geralt’s childhood home and a witcher fortress.
The Witcher season 2 plot details
Netflix had also released an official logline recently for the next season of the series. The show’s logline reads:
“Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans, and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.”
Moreover, a separate series titled The Witcher: A Look Inside the Episodes is also available on Netflix. It’s for those who want to know what’s transpired so far in the first season.
Additionally, Making The Witcher, a documentary, is also streaming. It tells the viewers behind the scenes and how they were shot.
Details on Cast and release date of season 2
The Witcher has Lauren S. Hissrich as the showrunner. The upcoming season will bring back Henry Cavill, playing the role of Geralt of Rivia.
Along with him, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri is also returning.
New members in the cast include Yasen Atour as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, and Kim Bodnia as Vesemir.
The rest of the cast has Paul Bullion as Lambert, Basil Eidenbenz as Eskel, and Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia. Kristofer Hivju, as Nivellen and Mecia Simson, as Francesca are also there in key roles.
The release date is not yet final since the shoot is running. Production will end up hopefully by next year.
The debut of The Witcher season 2 is be expected in mid-2021. However, it is only speculation based on rumors, not a confirmation.
Now that Geralt and Ciri’s first details are out, Netflix may gradually come out with extra information.
Because creating the hype is also important before the new season of The Witcher arrives.
