Vivo’s newest flagship only features a starting price tag of CNY 2,698.
Vivo’s claim to being the smartphone manufacturer with the most inexpensive premium iterations in the competition is now more than a reality.
Giving Xiaomi a run for its money
After releasing the iQOO 3 5G, Vivo’s brand iQOO now follows it up with the even more attractive, the iQOO Neo3. Dubbed as the world’s cheapest Snapdragon 865-powered smartphone, the newest handset is more than just its compelling pricing.
The Vivo iQOO Neo3 is built around on a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display, with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,408. Such a feature in the display department could be the reason why we’re a drop in the iQOO Neo3’s pricing.
Nevertheless, the iQOO Neo3 features support for HDR10 and top-tier 144Hz refresh rate, which make this phone a visual beast for gamers out there. The phone is also noted for being the least expensive phone to feature a high display refresh rate.
Alongside the Snapdragon 865 chipset, the iQOO Neo3 also packs 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM tiers and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone doesn’t support storage expansions.
Still, the iQOO Neo3 boasts a massive 4,500mAh battery capacity, with support for 44W fast wired charging.
Vivo equips the iQOO Neo3 a traditional triple-camera setup on its rear. The system, which is housed in a rectangular camera module, comprises a 48MP wide camera as its primary lens. An 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lenses accompany the primary camera. The phone’s display cutout, on the other hand, houses a 16MP front-facing camera.
In the software side of things, the iQOO Neo3 ships out with the iQOO UI skin, based on the latest Android 10. Other key features of the smartphone include Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack (which is a rarity), and USB Type-C. The phone also supports dual-mode 5G connectivity.
