If the latest rumors are true, there will be a big treat for gamers soon. They might get a COD Warzone title for mobile in the future!
Although Activision hasn’t announced anything yet, it may soon launch a mobile port for COD Warzone.
Currently, the insanely popular game is available as a free-to-play title only on PC and other platforms like PS4 and PS5.
‘COD Warzone’ port for mobile will be great!
Recently, keen observers noticed something interesting regarding Activision’s hiring for new roles on a global level.
A LinkedIn post read:
“Activision Mobile has put up new roles!”
The publisher, on LinkedIn, is looking for those who can help in expanding the Call of Duty series.
Apart from the current title, COD Mobile, there are no other games under Activision needing such massive hiring.
So it may lead to speculations that, perhaps, a mobile port of COD Warzone might be in the works. However, it can’t be confirmed at the moment.
Speaking of the job roles, then one position is for Engine Programmer.
“Activision Publishing is currently looking for an Engine Programmer to join the Mobile Team to work on a new mobile title.”
The latest hiring news didn’t take much time in attracting the attention of fans. And as per them, a COD Warzone version for smartphones may release in the future.
To put some weight to such rumors, Activision itself teased something last year regarding the probability.
It happened when the publisher posted a job role for an Executive Producer, Features (WZM).
Now for any lover of the free-to-play battle royale game, this abbreviation will mean “Warzone Mobile,” right?
But again, it wasn’t confirmed by the company in any way. So, there’s nothing to be sure about unless there is any conclusive evidence available.

Meanwhile, avid gamers are currently waiting for many fresh releases scheduled to make their way this year.
Speaking of new titles, then some of the potential blockbusters include Halo Infinite, Far Cry 6, and STALKER 2.
Horizon Forbidden West, Deathloop, Dying Light 2, No More Heroes 3, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is also anticipated.
But that’s not it!
The line-up extends further with Stray, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Humankind, New World, and GhostWire: Tokyo.
There’s no solid proof of its release in the future, returning to the rumors related to COD Warzone mobile.
