TikTok stars Bryce Hall and Jaden Hossler made headlines after reports of arrest. The two are now, reportedly, out of jail.
According to reports, Bryce Hall and Jaden Hossler were recently arrested on drug-related charges. Both are members of the creative collective Sway House.
Drug-related charges
Hall, 20, and Hossler, 19, were, reportedly, arrested in Lee County, Texas on Monday. Since early May, they have been in Texas partying with fellow TikTokers and their Gen Z content collective group members.
Hall was charged with possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana, which is considered a misdemeanor.
Meanwhile, Hossler was charged with possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana and less than 400 grams of a controlled substance, which is a felony.
Out of jail
The LA-based TikTok stars didn’t last long in jail though. By Tuesday, they already posted bail. Hall posted $5,000 bail while Hossler posted $6,500 bail.
Not long after, Internet celebrities made a quick update to their fans through their Twitter account.
Hall published a tweet saying “I’m back” while Hossler simply wrote “Hi.” It’s been noted though that both tweets have been removed.
There are no explanations and reps for Hall and Hossler declined to provide statements. Sway House and the Lee County Sheriff’s Department also did not respond to any comments.
Large social media reach
News of the arrests of Bryce Hall and Jaden Hossler spread like wildfire due to their large following on the social media platform TikTok. Hall alone has around 7 million followers on TikTok, 1.5 million on YouTube, and 4 million on Instagram.
Hossler isn’t far Hall’s following. He also has 6 million fans on TikTok and 2.4 million followers on Instagram.
With such social media reach in 2020, it’s no surprise that their apprehension is the talk of the town among youngsters today. Fans even started a Twitter account that promotes freeing of the TikTok stars.
It's just awful. In the morning I woke up in a wonderful mood, but it changed dramatically as soon as I I went to the tik tok. My legs were sharply skewed and tears were flowing. Breakup with Addison Rae
Following Hall’s arrest, TikTok star Addison Rae’s mother released a statement to confirm that her daughter is not in a relationship with Hall.
Hall and Addison Rae used to date together but they have already parted ways.
Hall has been very vocal about his feelings for the teenage social media queen lately though, which led fans to think something is still going on with them.
Addison Rae never commented on Hall’s comments about her too, including that time Hall’s friend Griffin Johnson joked that Hall still had the “fattest crush on Addison.”
But Sheri Easterling set the record straight and confirmed that the two are not together. This means fans shouldn’t really hope anything between the two.
