The first official trailer for Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley starring Chaos Walking movie is finally coming this week.
According to Comicbook, the Chaos Walking trailer is just around the corner. The title is based on a young adult novel, The Knife of Never Letting Go. Patrick Ness wrote it.
The official Twitter conversation between Lionsgate and the movie’s account revealed the news of the first trailer. It was quite a funny exchange of words, though.
“What do the fans want to be called? Chaotics? Walkers?” asked the movie’s Twitter account. To this, Lionsgate replied, “I wish I were allowed to say more, but all we can tell you is the trailer comes this week.”

Chaos Walking movie plot and cast details
The title stars Tom Holland and Daisey Ridley in the lead roles of two companions embarking on an adventure. They go through various hurdles and twists on an unexplored planet. In an unexpected reality, anyone can hear and see one’s inner thoughts. It’s quite an intriguing storyline and will be great to watch out for as well.
The cast also includes Mads Mikkelsen, Cynthia Erivo, Nick Jonas, Ray McKinnon, Kurt Sutter, and David Oyelowo.
The principal photography of the film was initially finished between August and November of 2017. Unfortunately, the project then stood canceled due to an awful test screening. Then several reshoots were made in 2018, extending up to 2020. And it was because of the two lead actors’ busy schedules. Tom Holland was shooting on Spider-Man: Far Far Home, Daisy Ridley was working on Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.
Upcoming big films in next year
The year 2020 is no doubt bad in all aspects of the entertainment industry. It forced all the big and highly anticipated productions to move further and get delayed. And all that is due to COVID-19 and its inevitable global impact.
The calendar is about to end, and moviegoers won’t be able to witness their favorite and most-awaited titles, no matter what. They missed big-budget potential blockbusters like Black Widow, Eternals, No Time To Die, and Wonder Woman 1984. They all will now arrive next year.
On the other hand, the projects that are yet to finish filming are moved to new dates in the future. Such movies include Robert Pattinson’s The Batman that suffered a huge gap in shooting after the lead actor tested positive. Thankfully, he recovered, and then the shoot resumed.
Coming back to Chaos Walking, Lionsgate scheduled it to release on January 22, 2021, earlier this year. The pandemic effect may force the makers to make unwanted changes to this date in case of more rapid virus cases.
