Since being revealed yesterday, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Remastered has been the talk of the gaming community. It’s not just about the nostalgia that’s bringing players back; it’s the bonuses that the game has in store as well.
Players who are interested in getting Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Remastered can pre-order the game as early as now ahead of its September 4 release date. Here are the pre-order bonuses and limited editions of the game every fan should know about.
Pre-Order Bonuses
If players pre-order the game, they’ll be getting a demo featuring the warehouse from the original game. This allows players to test out their skills at the iconic level that introduced the players to the game. Those who pre-order at GameStop will also have access to a Tony Hawk mini fingerboard.
Standard
The standard version of the game costs $40, which is just about right for a remaster. It features the full game and pre-order bonuses if applicable.
Deluxe Edition
For an extra $10, players can bag the Deluxe Edition of the game. Aside from the pre-order bonuses and a copy of the game, the Deluxe Edition also comes with a few special digital bonuses.
The in-game goodies include “The Ripper” skater from Powell-Peralta, retro outfits for Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, and Steve Caballero. Lastly, players will also get retro content for Create-A-Skater mode in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Remastered.
Collector’s Edition
This one is for the biggest fans of the game and skateboarding in general. At a whopping $100, players can get the Collector’s Edition. This comes with everything that’s included in the Deluxe Edition, as well as the pre-order bonuses, if applicable. Most importantly, it comes with an actual skateboard featuring Tony Hawk’s now iconic design. Moreover, the board has been signed by the man himself.
The skateboard is fully usable, but as it is a collectible, we doubt that fans are going to take it out for a spin anytime soon.
The upcoming remastered collection will come with the first two games from the iconic series that originally launched for the PlayStation 1. Aside from solid gameplay, the first two games had a soundtrack that remains memorable to long-time fans to this day.
These are the special editions and pre-order bonuses for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Remastered. Fans that want a piece of the game on launch day should act fast as the title already has a ton of eager players waiting for it.
