The upcoming Toyota 2021 Supra will receive performance boosts. Moreover, the car will also get multiple upgrades.
For its new iteration, the Toyota 2021 Supra will retain its straight-six engine. However, the engine will receive quite an upgrade raising its power to 382-horsepower and 368 lb-ft worth of torque.
Toyota is planning to release two versions of the Supra. The second model has a moniker Supra 2.0. It features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine. This is the first Supra to bear a four-cylinder engine.
The Toyota Supra 2.0 can produce up to 225-horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Toyota claims that the it will release new upgrades and changes to the car in the years to come.
Under the hood
Although both models are technically the same, there are a number of differences under the hood. First, one model features a straight-six engine, while the other one as a four-cylinder engine. The second model is quite a surprise for many in the motoring industry.
Apart from the engine, the two cars look almost identical. From the body shape to the interior design, the two Supra cars have a lot in common.

Toyota claims that the straight-six engine of the Supra 2021 can push the car to reach 60mph in just under 4 seconds. However, the car is limited to just an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The Supra 2.0 is still not available in the market. However, Toyota promises that it should be able to release the car within the foreseeable future. The carmaker claims that it has to limit its operation because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Toyota 2021 Supra internal upgrades
Both Toyota 2021 Supra models will get a new 8.8-inch infotainment screen. This is a significant upgrade to previous model which is just 6.5-inch.
Those who are looking to buy a new Supra will have an option to pick the Safety and Technology Package bundle. The bundle includes a handful of safety features including dynamic cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors, emergency braking system, and blind spot monitoring.
Reports claim that a limited edition Toyota 2021 Supra A91 will also hit the market. The car features a carbon fiber body, significant improvements of the car’s internals, and many more.
Deliveries of the new Toyota 2021 Supra will be start in June, while the Supra 2.0 will hit showrooms later this year. Toyota has yet to reveal the official prices of the car.
