Twitter will be better with Bitcoin features, Jack Dorsey says

Twitter with Bitcoin features might be a norm that users may see in the near future.

According to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, he believes that the social media platform’s growth could grow exponentially when it’s integrated with Bitcoin capabilities.

Speaking to shareholders, Dorsey said: “There are three trends relevant to Twitter and you, our shareholder: AI, decentralization and the internet finally having access to a global native currency in Bitcoin.”

Twitter in steroids

From being a simple microblogging platform when it was launched, Twitter is set to have advanced features that would further strengthen its position in the highly competitive social media space.

Dorsey said that with the planned integration of artificial intelligence on the platform, long-time issues about Twitter like relevance and history can finally be solved.

He also added that other technologies that will be equipped in Twitter will enable it to provide more power to users and increase its presence in the global financial arena.

Wider reach

Twitter has already reached millions of people around the world, but Dorsey said that with the integration of Bitcoin features, the platform can reach a wider base that it hasn’t yet reached before.

Also, with Bitcoin, Twitter could push its products, such as Super Follows, commerce, subscriptions, and Tip Jar, at a much faster rate and on a wider scale. Dorsey added that the world’s leading cryptocurrency can help the company “reach every single person on the planet.”

The Twitter CEO believes that Bitcoin, even with its dominant presence now, would play an even bigger role in the future, that is why he is determined to tap the crypto’s potential as early as possible.
