Ubisoft is giving out a number of free game titles and trial versions to help encourage people to stay inside amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The French video game company published a press release titled “Play Your Part, Play at Home,” encouraging the public to stay at home and protect themselves from contracting the virus.
In line with that, Ubisoft has set up a month-long series of free games, trials, and discounts, including popular titles such as Rayman Legends, Might and Magic: Chess Royale, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Additionally, the company has contributed a total of $150,000 to the WHO COVID-19 relief fund through Twitch’s Stream Aid.
Free ‘Rayman Legends’ game
To start off the free event, the video game company has offered their award-winning game Rayman Legends as a giveaway.

Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends is the fifth main title to the Rayman series. It was a well-received sequel to the 2011 Rayman Origins during its release in 2013.
Rayman Legends can be downloaded for free only until April 3. Aside from that, Might and Magic Chess Royal and Rabbids Codding are also offered for free.
‘Friend Pass’ for free trial
Meanwhile, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Wildlands are up for a free trial version. Ubisoft has implemented a “Friend Pass” system that will be available from March 30 to June 16, 2020.

During this window period, game owners will be able to invite their friends to play. The invited friends must install the trial version.
Game owners need to stay connected to the game for their invited friends to be able to continue playing.
The Division, The Crew 2, and Trials Rising Demo are also set for game trials.
Ubisoft further announced to stay tuned for additional free offers and trials in the days to come. They’ve hinted on offering their popular franchises such as Assassin’s Creed and Just Dance.
