Ubisoft issues warning about ‘Far Cry 6’ fake invites

After growing news of early access invitations regarding Far Cry 6, Ubisoft has issued a warning, confirming that they are fake.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s publisher Ubisoft has warned players of staying away from fake Far Cry 6 early access invitations.

‘Far Cry 6’ and the problem of fake invites

Talking about the entire matter, then many people, since the last month, have received emails for participation in beta testing for Fry Cry 6.

Taking the problem seriously, Ubisoft has strictly issued warnings to its communities. It also told them to avoid fraudulent emails because they are not sent from the company.

“Some of our media and content creators are being sent fake emails using the Ubisoft domain inviting you to take part in early access for Far Cry 6,” the statement from the publisher read.

Furthermore, it also announced that it would investigate the case.

Just a few days ago, a similar incident happened with Resident Evil Village as well. Many individuals reported receiving early access invites to test out the gameplay.

However, Capcom denied such news and told them to ignore any such emails.

It seems like gaming publishers and developers have a hard time controlling fake content, especially when it comes to some of their biggest anticipated launches.

Due to the hype and craze, sometimes many fraudulent groups try to grab such opportunities. They pose as the official source of the property and then carry out fake activities through emails.

There’s a need to restrict such actions and prevent them from growing enormously in the future.

New video games in 2021

Meanwhile, the passion of gamers never settles down. They always need alternatives to try out on their consoles.

Speaking of some of the best ones to choose from, then 2021 looks very promising.

Hitman 3, Valheim, and Little Nightmares 2 are proof of that. It’s just the third month, and these releases have already swayed the players.

The year has just begun, however. And there’s a lot to be excited about.

Talking about the most-awaited launches, some of them are Resident Evil Village, Halo Infinite, and a new COD installment.

Horizon Forbidden West, Deathloop, Dying Light 2, Monster Hunter Rise, STALKER 2, and Returnal are also among anticipated heavyweights.

But that’s not it!

The line-up goes even further with the likes of Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Humankind, Back 4 Blood, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

This year, several recently announced titles to arrive later this year are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories.

Coming back to Far Cry 6, again, then currently it has no release date at all.
