Animal Crossing: New Horizons is already large on its own, but the game is set to get even bigger; This is because Nintendo’s not done with the content updates yet.
Players already new that there will be an upcoming event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and it will include the Earth Day update. What they didn’t know was that there would be a lot of things added to the game as well. Here are the best pieces of content to look out for.
Redd and his treasures
Every once in a while, players will see Redd’s ship docked somewhere on the island. If they head inside, they’ll see the familiar fox selling treasures and uniquely colored furniture. What players should eye are the treasures. These treasures are the art pieces that could be displayed or even given to Blathers.
The catch with Redd is that he’ll be selling counterfeit and legitimate treasure pieces as well. Players will have to scrutinize the art pieces heavily as fake pieces aren’t going to be accepted by Blathers.
Museum expansion
The addition of Redd also brings a new section to the museum. Once the update has been downloaded and installed, players should head to the museum quickly as there will be a new section devoted to art pieces.
They can fill up this new section by getting legitimate art pieces from Redd, paintings, and sculptures included.
Leif and Nature Day
The update will also bring in the Nature Day event, which will run from April 23 to May 4. Throughout the event, players will be rewarded with bonus Nook Miles for plant related activities such as planting trees and flowers. Of course, there will be some neat new furniture to collect during the event as well.
Leif will also begin selling a new time of plantable objects, which are shrubs. These aren’t in any way an event-exclusive item, so players don’t need to rush in getting them.
More events coming soon
The video announcement also reveals the upcoming seasonal events for Animal Crossing New Horizons. After Earth Day is done, players can then participate in May Day Tour, International Museum Day, and Wedding Season. These events will be spread out through May and June.
From the look of things, these events will also introduce new items to collect and possibly some new features as well.
Animal Crossing New Horizons is getting bigger with each update. Fans are hoping that Nintendo is far from done when it comes to expanding the game.
