Signs of Sojourner (May 14)
This game from Echodog Games brings a great narrative through its unique card-based mechanic. Signs of Sojourner revolves around building relationships with the other characters as well as other people.
The game starts as the protagonist takes over his deceased mother’s store. The player must travel to different locations to acquire goods and as the game progresses, the narrative takes place.
There are no chat trees in the game, and for a player to communicate with merchants, the player can use symbol cards that should match up with the in-game merchant to be able to acquire goods.
The game is available on Steam for macOS and Windows. There are no updates on whether it will come to console platforms in the future.

Maneater (May 22)
Remember the 2006 game Jaws Unleashed? If yes, then this game can be very interesting. It is still worth a try if you re not familiar with this genre.
Maneater is the shark simulator that a lot of players are waiting for. This role-playing game lets the users take the role of a shark as it chomps away at the U.S. Golf Coast. The game is an open-world so the possibilities are endless.
Similar to the mobile game, Hungry Shark, the character at Maneater starts as a baby shark. By exploring the large open-world area, the player must search for either human food or wildlife. The character grows as objectives are accomplished and the right resources are taken.
This game stays true with its copy “Eat. Explore. Evolve.” and can be quite engaging.
Maneater will be available on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox this May. The Nintendo Switch version will arrive at a later date.
