In a recent interview with an outlet, senior writer of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Alain Mercieca, showed an interest in Brazil to be the location for a future entry. There are some other options as well.
Talking to TheGamer, Alain Mercieca shared his ideas regarding new locations for the next installment.
“As someone obsessed with history, you could get me excited about a niche group of warriors in a lost society on the island of Malta, and I’d be ready to jump into it and make it pop,” he said.
He mentioned Brazil and the Mediterranean island of Malta as his favorite locations to explore in a future title.
However, Mercieca also said that he might need a bigger map than Malta because Assassin’s Creed games are generally huge.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a prime example of that, no doubt. Even Odyssey and other past entries before that had vast locations.
Then there is Brazil as well. It might eventually play a big role in the next title. As per the writer, “there is a rich tapestry of culture in South America that the brand has yet to explore fully.”
Meanwhile, a lot is going on in the gaming arena at the moment. 2021 has just been three months old, and there’s already so much to watch out for.
But coming months will reveal even more surprises.
However, that’s not everything!
The line-up extends more with the likes of Back 4 Blood, GhostWire: Tokyo, Stray, Biomutant, and STALKER 2.
Several recently announced projects to make their debuts soon are Glitchpunk, The Day Before, and Etched Memories. The latter will be an exciting title to watch out for because it will feature a Cat, named Biscuit as the main protagonist!
