Valorant Act Three is coming this October 13, and Riot Games brings a lot to an end the current episode.
Yesterday, Riot Games released a teaser for the upcoming Valorant Act Three map. Now, the developers dropped the forthcoming changes for next week’s update.
Riot is supposedly releasing the “Icebox” map for episode two. However, with the new map coming in earlier than expected, there will be adjustments on its calendar.
The latest Valorant Agent will have a delayed launch date. This is to make up with the adjusted game schedule.
There is an advantage to this move, though. Riot may resolve any discovered bugs or glitches before releasing the new Agent.
“We want to be faster when it comes to resolving any issues or exploits. This delay gives our team some breathing room to make sure current Agents play nice with the new map,” stated Riot.
What’s coming on Act Three?
The new map and the unnamed Agent are the highlights of Act Three. But, there is a lot of content coming up following the revamped roadmap.
First on the list would be the Icebox map coming on Unrated games this October 13. Competitive matches will immediately start on the same date, but the Icebox map will only be playable starting on October 27.
The refresh has changes lined up in terms of the competitive matches. The Rank queue is now lower from 6 tiers to 3 tiers. Players may also choose a preferred server.
Lastly, the Immortal+ rank is now decided 100% by wins and losses.
“Valorant” Act Three battle pass is here
The new battle pass for Act Three is adjusted for easier unlocks. There are exclusive skins included plus the usual battle pass items.
The Singularity weapon bundle will be available on the launch date as well. The bundle includes skins for the Phantom, Sheriff, Spectre, Ares, and a Melee skin.
The Valorant Act Three Agent is still unnamed at the moment. She will be playable starting on October 27.
